Greenfield services often paired Node.js with TypeScript 5 for JSON-heavy APIs and real-time features. Domain-driven design and bounded contexts kept monoliths from returning by accident.
Integration as default
Custom apps rarely stood alone. ERP modules, CRM records, and payment gateways required idempotent APIs, message queues, and event-driven handoffs so upstream changes did not silently break downstream workflows.
